Equipping Christian Men for Richer Relationships

“I need to be close to you.”

Dear wife,

“I need to be close to you.”

I want to be close to you.

I need to be close to you.

I’m better when I am close to you.

We are different.

We have different opinions.

We misunderstand each other.

Sometimes we clash and argue.

But…

I want to be close to you.

I need to be close to you.

I’m better when I am close to you.

I can be strong-willed and opinionated.

I often want my own way.

At times, things become tense.

But…

I want to be close to you.

I need to be close to you.

I’m better when I am close to you.

I have my own likes, wants, and needs.

Not everything goes my way.

I grumble and complain.

But…

I want to be close to you.

Close

Connecting to you is always more valuable than my preferences, wants or control. Forgive me for the times I get upset and throw fits.

Prayer

Father, help me always protect my relationship. And, help me grow and mature. Amen

P.S. Can you please also help grow my wife.

Scripture

“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”

Eph. 4:2-3 NIV
