Change

How do you know if change is happening? Lots of guys say they want to change. Lots of guys start to change. Lots of guys try to change. And, lots of guys promise to change. Changing is hard.

It takes desire and discipline over a long period. I recently heard a comment that thrilled my soul. Why? Because it meant the gentleman was experiencing the fruit of growth. What is the fruit of growth? Joy!

The individual started by saying all the right behavioral things.

• I pray daily.
• Go to group.
• Journal.
• And do my check-ins.

Then he added this comment. “And, I like it!”

My spirit leaped with delight. He was experiencing joy on his new journey. Old things passed away and new things were taking root. When we get in alignment with God, good, and growth, joy rises.
