Dear Husband,
You have wonderful strengths. Those strengths bless me. They are a gift to our union. I want to say a big thank you. They bless me.
But you also have some serious weaknesses.
Those weaknesses:
- Stunt you,
- Hinder me, and
- Hurt our union.
Your weaknesses started as coping and surviving skills in your youth. I understand. They served you well in the past. But it’s time for you to consider releasing those old individual skills. Remember, you were made for union, bonding, and oneness.
Individual coping, surviving, and comfort-seeking habits are stunting our union. Please take a moment for self reflection. Look inside yourself. Ask some hard questions.
Will this be a sacred, growing union? Or just two individuals sharing the same space. Today is a good day for deepening our union.
Most people don’t understand the power of bonding and oneness. Bonding protects us both. Growing is the pathway forward.
Let’s keep talking. Change is hard. I will continue to work on my own weaknesses. Let’s work together. Growing through struggles is part of being one.
Prayer
Father, help me please. Life is hard. Growth is hard. Change is hard. Help me grow in maturity. Help me not hinder my bond. Please bless this union. Help me start making small steps of change. May I do it to your glory. And, for the strengthening of this union? Amen.
Bible meditation
May they be One as we are One.
