It is important to have the right view of church. Church is a meeting place for Grinches. Grinches have small hearts. They have a history of being selfish, greedy, and self centered. They take first and give second. In youth, they lack maturity. And in adulthood, they lack maturity.

Grinches have expertise. They look out for number one. They are experts at using and manipulating. And, they are good at disguising it.

Grinches go to church because their hearts are too small. They love the teaching of Jesus.

Because, Jesus is a heart specialist. Jesus knows how to tune up a struggling heart. And, he loves giving new hearts.

After spending enough time with Jesus, a Grinch’s heart grows 10 times larger. They start out as selfish-loners and end up attached-givers.

Jesus changes Grinches.

Every Sunday the church is full of Grinches listening to heart changing sermons.

That’s the right view of church.
