If you don’t know you’re messed up, you’re really messed up.
If you know you’re messed up, you’re only half messed up.
If you think you’re hiding the parts of you that are messed up, please know… they’re showing.
If you think it’s your job to point out how messed up I am, it’s not.
If you think fixing others will fix you, it won’t.
If you can laugh at how messed up you are, you’re becoming less messed up.
If you can admit your messed-up-ness out loud, you’re getting free.
If you can sit with someone else’s mess without trying to fix it, you’re growing.
If you can receive grace in the middle of your messiness, you’re becoming a gracious mess.
If you can give grace while someone else is in theirs, you’re modeling Jesus.
If you think you’ve finally arrived and you’re no longer messed up…it may be time to study humility.
