An educator was reading some research. The topic was children and learning. She reported:
Children learn best when two things are present.
- They feel safe.
- And, they feel loved.
How simple and yet so powerful. Look back, growing up, did you feel safe and well loved? Check yourself today. Do you feel safe and well loved inside yourself? Look around. Is your marriage and home a safe place where everyone feels well loved? Look forward. Is your goal to build safety and share love in all your relationships?
We all need spiritually and emotionally safe places to grow. And, we need lots of love to thrive.
Prayer
Father, help me feel peaceful, restful and safe in you. Help me be filled with love and flow out that love to those around me.
Amen
PS And, help remove anything that hinders me.
