Jesus said, On that day, you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. In a different verse we are told you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. So that means Christ is in me. The Holy Spirit is in me and my own spirit is in me. That’s three forces at work “inside me.”
Let’s call this Team A.
Team A
Visualize the three standing as one. My spirit, Jesus on my right side, and the Holy Spirit on my left side. To complete this picture, spirit-me is armored up wearing the full armor of God.
Team B
Team B is the opposing team. It’s divided into two halves:
- The Old Torment
- The condemning voices that live in my head.
- Fear, shame, doubt, and regrets
- Unworthiness, brokenness, and humiliations
- The powers of this Dark world and the Spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Closing
Armor up! Today there will be a battle between Team A and Team B.
Prayer
Most gracious, wonderful, heavenly, Father, thank you. Thank you that I am safely inside you. I love being yours. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Please pour out strength on me today for the battles ahead, Amen.
P.S. I love being on the winning team.
