50% Connected?

Are you 50% connected to your spouse? Are you 100% emotionally connected? Or, are you somewhere in between?

HERE IS THE CRITERIA FOR MAKING A 50% EMOTIONAL CONNECTION WITH YOUR SPOUSE.

1 . Have a wedding ceremony.

2 . Hold a title. e.g., Husband or Wife

3 . Work outside the home as a provider. And/or inside the home as a homemaker.

4 . Manage household tasks and chores. Including kids, pets, meals, meds and money.

5 . Grow old next to each other.

HERE IS THE CRITERIA FOR MAkING A 100% EMOTIONAL CONNECTION WITH YOUR SPOUSE

6 . Do all the stuff above.

7 . And, create a safe relationship for talking and working through challenging issues.

8 . Argue, disagree, disconnect, kiss and make-up hundreds of times.

9 . Share your hopes, dreams and griefs.

10. Practice gratitude and find joy in sacrificing for your spouse.

11 . Engage in deep, soul discussions about fears, doubts and unworthiness.

12 . Tell your spouse, “I am so in love with you it scares me.”

Prayer

Father, please help our marriage be about a strong connection (oneness) and help two broken people create a great love story with you at the center. Amen
