Over the next week, we’re going to do some housekeeping and explain a little about what this blog is, how to make the best use of it, and how it benefits your marriage relationship. Today is question and answer day.
What is the purpose of this blog?
It’s designed to help a husband grow his emotional skills. It includes emotional ideas, concepts, and language.
Why is it important for a husband to read these posts to his wife?
It shows he understands her need for an emotional connection. And, starting small and simple is the pathway to richer and deeper.
Why is a Bible verse included?
As Christians, we want to make sure we develop our emotional program in harmony with our spiritual program. And, the Bible is the final authority.
Why must I read my wife a blog a day?
You don’t need to if you emotionally fill her and connect with her throughout the day. However, if you are a poor emotional connector, this blog is like a glass of cool water from you to her; your wife’s emotional drink for the day.
How else can reading an emotional blog a day to my wife be helpful?
- It reminds you to keep growing. And, it gives her hope.
- You are called to be a leader in your marriage. This fulfills one step in leadership.
- It shows you want to share ideas, connect, and grow with your wife. She feels valued.
- If you initiate by proposing to do this with her, she feels pursued and loved by you.
