Equipping Christian Men for Richer Relationships

Two Emotional Challenges

To be emotionally successful in life you must solve two challenges.
Challenge #1: Run your emotional program on peace, rest, and joy.
Challenge #2: Stand in a flow stream of endless love.

Everything else is a detail. Focus your energy on these two challenges.

Challenge #1

These activities stop today.

No More

  • Blaming or shaming yourself
  • Putting yourself down
  • Calling yourself names

No More

  • Thinking others are better than you,
  • Telling yourself you don’t deserve good things,
  • Saying you’re a bad person.

No More

  • Acting lost,
  • Giving up,
  • Finishing weak.

We all need love. And, lots of it. You were made by love, for love, and to love. Love drives your soul. Love resets all systems. Love allows you to run your system as originally designed.

Challenge #2

Walk around.

Move your body.

Say out loud, morning, noon and night,

“I am loved from above.
I am so full of God’s love.
His love flows out of me.”

Repeat.

Then repeat multiple times daily for 30 days.

Allow the love flow of Abba, Jesus and the Holy Spirit to transform you.

Bible Connection

  • You should know that your body is a temple for the Holy Spirit that you received from God and that lives in you. You don’t own yourselves. God paid a very high price to make you his. So honor God with your body. -1 Corinthians 6:20 (ERV)
  • You did not choose me. I chose you. And I gave you this work: to go and produce fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you anything you ask for in my name. – John 15:16 (ERV)
  • God raised Jesus from death. And if God’s Spirit lives in you, he will also give life to your bodies that die. Yes, God is the one who raised Christ from death, and he will raise you to life through his Spirit living in you. -Romans 8:11

The gift of the Holy Spirit living inside you changes everything.

Prayer

Father, I am ready for old things to be made new. My soul is burdened and heavy. Today, may I bathe in your endless flow of love. Amen.
