What is the Practice of Innocence? The Practice of Innocence is an emotional-soul program. It lives and works in harmony with your spiritual program. It is an intentionally cultivated way of living. Innocence is a way of engaging and living in the world.
The Practice of Innocence is living with joy, wonder, and openness. It includes approaching others with curiosity and wonder. The Practice of Innocence is a world view that is expressed and lived out daily. It is defined as clean, joy-filled living. And includes being open, and fully present. It means, living without cynicism, bitterness, lying, deceiving, anger, or corruption. Instead, the Practice of Innocence is striving for integrity, purity, and goodness. Finally, the decision to participate in the Practice of Innocence will require regular maintenance and effort.
There are two spiritual reasons to engage in the Practice of Innocence. First, Jesus said, blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Second, he also said unless you turn and become like children, you’ll never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Editor’s Note: As Christians, we are saved by the work of Christ alone, and not by any work that we do. Stephen is talking here about a way of walking in our forgiveness, knowing that we sin, and that we are forgiven by the work of Christ on the cross. But we are taking a posture that protects our innocence.
