Things to say to “out loud” just before you do something stupid:
- “Aren’t you tired of being sick and tired?”
- “Enough already!”
- “You know what you’re doing!”
- “Stop it!” Stop! Stop!
- “You know where this leads!”
- “Will this make you better?”
- “Really! Get worse? Really! Really!”
- “Is this helping you?”
- “Does this honor Christ?”
- “Will this bring you more order or chaos?”
- “Do you want to stay shallow?”
- “Do you want to practice more stupid?”
- “Aren’t you trying to be a good man?” (God’s man)
- “Do you want more relapses, regrets, and remorse?”
- “Turn around. Walk away!”
- “Do you want to live and die in the shallow end of the pool?”
- “A disciplined life is a free life.”
- “Do you want freedom or addiction?”
- “Don’t be stupid!”
- “Is this helping you go forward?”
- “Fight to protect your peace, rest and joy?”
