I was talking to a church brother. He said, “There are men all around us who are drowning in sexual temptation. And, there is little guidance and help for them.
He said. I’m going to start being more open and honest. I want to tell my story of growing up and struggling. Including, finding a pathway to victory.”

He continued, “My Father was afraid of the topic of sexuality. He took me to a doctor so someone could explain how things work. I needed training, leadership and a mentor. I got a one time doctor visit.”

The comments of this concerned brother emotionally touched me. Especially when he said these words.

“I will talk to any man about my sexual growing up struggles. I do not want one more young man to be ignored and to live in isolation and confusion. Because, over time that young man will just get worse.”

Finally, he proclaimed, “If I have to be embarrassed telling my story so one man can find freedom. That’s a price I am willing to pay.”

Wow! Thank you God for men who are willing to be sacrificial leaders.

Prayer

Father, sexuality is an important part of manhood. Help me manage my sexuality in a manner that honors you. Please help me. You said with your help all things are possible. Amen,
