Sometimes it helps when complicated things are made simple. See if this makes sense to you.

1. You are a Spirt that lives in a body. (At death your Spirit leaves your body.)
2. Your Spirit is in charge of running your Brain. (Your brain is like a computer server accessing and processing data.)
3. Your Brain runs an emotional program called the Soul. (Your soul is the emotional, software, program of the brain.)
4. One day you decide to become a Christian. You invite Christ to be your Lord. The Holy Spirit also joins him and moves inside you.
5. So, now your Spirit, Jesus and the Holy Spirit become the leadership team.
6. The old Soul program continues to run in your brain. Some of it easily lines up with the teachings of Jesus. Other parts resist and refuse to submit.

Some of the old Soul program is operating out of alignment with my Christian Walk. I am trying to run a program based on peace, rest and joy. Please discontinue all Thoughts and behaviors that are inconsistent with that goal.
