You only have two choices in life: You can be a loner or a connector. If you’re single, being a loner works just fine. But if you’re married and a loner, there will be problems.
Loners:
- Think internally.
- Talk less.
- Figure things out alone.
- Keep to themselves.
- Like things.
- Aren’t looking for opportunities to connect.
- Live dependent on themselves.
- Don’t understand this whole connecting thing.
- Stay private.
- Are just fine if you do all the talking and connecting.
- Were never taught to connect.
Connectors:
- Use talking to connect.
- Process thoughts and ideas outwardly with others.
- Want to work, plan, and talk through everything.
- Feel safe when they are connected.
- Get stressed and confused in disconnection.
- Find connecting pure joy.
- Want everyone to be deeply, connected.
- Were often taught connecting as a child.
Prayer
Lord, I know you love oneness. It’s hard to get there and stay there with some individuals. But it is the desire of your heart. Make it the desire of my heart. Help me. Train me. Bless me in oneness. And keep growing my spouse also. Amen.
Bible Connection
And over all these virtues put on love, which is the bond of perfect unity. (Oneness) Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, for this you were called as members of one body.
