Here are four quotes. At least one of them should inspire a good discussion with your spouse.
“There is a way things work” a quote by John Eldridge. He continues, “This principle applies to playing an instrument, reading a book, riding a bike or cooking a dish. In every area of life, there is a way things work.”
I love this quote because it applies to God’s design for our emotions. There is a way emotions work.
“Discipline is freedom” – a quote by Aristotle.
Jacko Willink says, “don’t expect to be motivated everyday to get out there to make things happen. You won’t be. Don’t count on motivation. Count on discipline.
“Clarity is kind. Being unclear is unkind” – a quote by Brene Brown. She continues, “Being clear in your communication is the generous, brave, kind, and helpful thing to do.”
“Blaming is simply a way of discharging discomfort and pain.” It is the venting of anger. If you think about, it is also the opposite of accountability. This is another quote by Brene Brown.

Prayer
Jesus prayed, “may they be one as we are one.” Heavenly Father, help me lead my wife into great emotional and spiritual oneness. Help me use these blogs to foster dialogues of learning myself, my wife, and spiritual truths. May we be one as you are one. Amen.
Bible
There is no Bible verse that fits these quotes. But, here are some wonderful words Jesus prayed to the Father.
The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. – John 17:22-23 (LSB)
