What if today was the end of self-doubt? Self-doubt has tormented you long enough. Let’s end it today.
Miriam-Webster defined doubt as “to be uncertain, to lack confidence, hesitancy, to be inclined not to believe,” and to fear failure.
Self Doubt is always questioning yourself. Being uncertain about your abilities and actions. It’s allowing that inner voice to stir fear in you. “You might fail. It’s better not to try. Someone might laugh at you. Don’t risk. Don’t try. Don’t extend yourself.”
But we are followers of Jesus, we believe in Abba and the Holy Spirit. And we have the Holy Spirit living in us!
The Result
Today I have a new program. I will not waste one more second entertaining self-doubt. I will do what Jesus said, “Count the cost.” Then I’ll go forward or I won’t. If I fail, I will only allow the judgment of Abba, Jesus, and the Holy Comforter. Self doubt you are not welcome any longer.
Prayer
Father, when I am confused and uncertain, please help me hear the voice of the Holy Spirit. I want the exhausting and tormenting feeling of self-doubt to end. I submit that old inadequate feeling to you today. Amen.
Bible Connection
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. – 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)
