What if the problem is you have never been loved well?

What if you started out as a child and you needed a lot of love? I mean, you needed a truck-load of love everyday. But all you could get was a shovel full. It was hard, but you survived and grew. Then one day you met a girl. Wow! it was great and you thought she’s the one. “She will love me like crazy!” So, you married her.

Then, life happened. Her firehose-gushing-love turned into a small spring of gentle flowing love.

You wanted more love. You needed more.

Work delivered some love. Friends delivered some love.

What if you were made by love and for love? If that’s true, nothing short of a God sized love could fill you.

What if you had never been loved well and one day you heard about Abba, Jesus and the Comforter. That was the answer, a source of endless love. (Yes, you would have to switch your system from physical fuel to spiritual fuel. And yes, that does take a little discipline.) But, in the spiritual world, the first thing you would see is a delivery of endless containers. Filled with love and they all have your name on them.
