This is the universal struggle. The getting saved part is easy. It’s the being satisfied part that is difficult. It is a lifelong assignment to bring your hopes, dreams, wishes, wants, needs, desires, and preferences in alignment with Jesus.
Contentment is a learned skill. And it is a long, slow skill.
Keep growing.

Father, thank you for saving me. Let’s keep working on the desires of my heart and soul. Thank you for your patience. Remember, I’m the slow one. Amen.
