Why should a husband read this daily blog or some type of devotional material to his wife?

As I write this question, my heart races to answer. “Because we are made for love and connection. We need it daily.”

Here are more reasons:

• Physical touch conveys love through the body, but sharing emotional thoughts and language nurtures the heart.
• Most wives want you to know them and speak the language of their heart.
• Finding, sharing, and talking about emotional concepts makes you a very special man.
• The blog includes a spiritual dimension for the whole individual. A wife gets to hear her husband read a heartfelt prayer.
• For greater depth, Bible material is included. It provides God’s wisdom for a daily meditation.

What do most wives want in their relationship?

• A wife wants a whole man including his emotional and spiritual aspects.
• She wants her husband to be a good conversationalist.
• She wants dialogues that grow deeper, richer, and wiser over time.
• A wife wants her husband to bring interesting topics for discussion.
• She wants her husband to lead himself and her in the direction of God and heaven.

Prayer

Father, the list above is long and difficult. But nothing is impossible for you. Please help me in the areas of emotional, spiritual, and conversational growth. You made me. You know me. I am your son. Bless me with wisdom and vision. And bless my wife the same way. Amen.
