You no longer have permission to define me. You are broken humanity—just like me. If you think it is your job to judge and shame me, it isn’t. But if you want to nurture, encourage, and support me, then let’s grow together.
You are flesh and flawed. You have your own long list of brokenness and failure.
Healthier, broken people know not to crawl up and sit on the throne of judgment. That seat belongs to God. And from this day forward, God alone is my Judge.
For years I carried a damaged view of myself—formed in childhood, reinforced by hurt and pain, solidified by failure. But today that changes. Today I choose agreement with God’s definition of me.
- I am releasing my old program.
- I am letting go of my trauma-and-shame identity.
- I am receiving a healthier definition rooted in Jesus and grace.

If you bring friendship, encouragement, and vulnerability, we can grow together.
But I am no longer living for the approval of any other flawed human being.
Prayer:
Father, I confess that I have lived dependent on the approval of others. Today I choose You and Your definition of me. Teach me to rest in my new identity. Amen.
Scripture:
“There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” — Romans 8:1. NIV
