What happens when someone judges you? How do you respond when an individual verbally attacks? And they call you a worthless, losing, failure!
Here are some spiritual-emotional thought responses you might want to entertain.
- It’s okay if you don’t like me. God loves me a lot.
- I accept that for some reason you need to reject me.
- I give you permission to reject me.
- I’m so filled with God’s love. And I really enjoy myself. Sorry, there’s no room for me to entertain your small hurtful words.
- You hate yourself. How could you ever like me?
- Are you aware that you just crawled up on the judgement seat of God and pronounced me bad?
- Let me get this straight. YOU are broken humanity telling ME-broken humanity, that I am flawed.
- Your comments say a lot more about you than they say about me.
- I don’t play the winner-loser game. I practice love.
Brene Brown, researcher, uses this type of response.
I am a warrior who enters battle everyday. You are a bench warming critic, who heckles the warriors. I have a rule. I only take fighting advice from other bruised and battled warriors.
Brant Hansen, in his book Unoffendable made this statement.
I just decided to not be offended.

I offer these thoughts as a way to guard your heart. The absolute best solution is to have a heart so full of love, love is your automatic response.
Prayer
Father, please keep growing me. I want to be just like Jesus. Amen.
Bible
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. (Run on love.)
