Some words are like puzzle pieces. Or they seem like a very close, comfortable relative. They just fit together so nicely. Here is an example.
- Innocence, Wonder, Awe
- Beauty, Captivating, Intrigue
- Gratitude, God, Dialogue
Let me explain. Child-like Innocence allows for Curiosity. It creates maximum space for Wonder. And as you explore the mysteries of this world you will discover moments of sheer Awe. In that moment you will lose your breath.
On life’s journey there will be moments when you experience sheer Beauty. Time will stand still. You will be Captivated. Every part of you will be consumed with Intrigue.
Your soul will swell with Gratitude. All other emotions will melt away.
In the physical world you will experience these moments as you encounter God‘s wonder-filled creation. In the spiritual world you will experience these feelings in moments of deep, sacred worship.
In either the physical or spiritual encounter there will only be one response. It will be both a heart expression and the beginning of a Dialogue.
“Thank you, Father!”
Close
In those moments you will know you live in two overlapping worlds. And, you will also know there is only one creator.
Homework
Tell your wife she is part of God’s beautiful creation.
Prayer
Father, thank you for my innocence being restored and awe. Thank you for beauty and intrigue. Today my heart is consumed with gratitude. Thank you, Father! Amen.
Bible
