Hal Donaldson founded Convoy of Hope. The organization is a disaster relief service. Hal was speaking and reminded everyone, “It’s time to pivot to bigger thinking.” Then he disclosed, “My faith has been less than God’s provisions.” He continued, “One day I thought I would stretch myself and my team by making a bold statement. The media was present, and the cameras were rolling. I stated, ‘In this pandemic, we are going to serve 10 million meals.’ That was me, being bold. At the end of the crisis, we had served 200 million meals. That was God being himself. My faith was less than God’s provisions. But not today.”

Today, pivot to bigger thinking.

I am reminded I am walking alongside a big, big God, with a big, big vision.

Father, thank you for choosing me and allowing me to be your friend. It blesses me when something bigger than me happens. I delight in you and I take comfort in your bigness. Amen.
